Ali Edwards is a Brooklyn based writer, filmmaker and actress..
Ali’s first feature august at twenty two, which she wrote and starred in, went through the festival circuit (Best Actress - Queens World Film Festival, Programmers Choice Best Feature - Bushwick Film Festival) before gaining distribution through Gravitas Ventures. Most recently she completed production on the horror feature Alan at Night (dir. Jesse Swenson) and Persian Cucumber (dir. Amir Mosallaie.)
She is a co-founder of Lady Parts Productions, an all-female production company committed to telling feminist stories. As an actress, Ali trained at the conservatory program at The Terry Knickerbocker Studio.
She is currently the Executive Producer at streaming platform Zeam. Prior to Zeam, she was the Head of Development and a producer at the Academy Award nominated and Emmy Award winning documentary company Disarming Films.
Ali is committed to creating feminist, challenging work that explores the queer and female perspectives.
