ALI, WHOM?
Ali Edwards is a Brooklyn based writer, filmmaker and actress.
Since graduating from Boston University in 2017 (BS in Film and TV), Ali has used her passion for acting and storytelling to produce experimental films, shorts, and web series “One Four All” and “Connecting” while also engaging with the NY theater and film scene. Ali’s first feature august at twenty two, which she wrote and starred in, will be in festivals in late 2022.. Most recently she completed production on the horror feature Alan at Night the NYU Grad Thesis film Persian Cucumber.
She is a co-founder of Lady Parts Productions, an all-female production company that prioritizes telling feminist narratives.
As an actress, Ali trained at the conservatory program at The Terry Knickerbocker Studio. Ali is committed to creating feminist, challenging work that explores the queer and female perspectives.
She is currently working at premiere documentary production company Disarming Films alongside Academy-Award nominated director Amy Berg (Phoenix Rising- HBO, Dogs- Netflix, Dear Pony - Freeform)
